Living the Fourth every day |
Hoping to follow out the ideas of Kairos every day. Go now and Live the Fourth! A.M.D.G. |
So what happened today? Lets see. i had class, then I talked to my grandmother, then I went to the doctor then I played minecraft. Oh, I also mailed in my ballot this morning.
So I was in class and I had my ballot with me so that I could drop it off in the mail after class and my friend asked me who I was voting for. You know what is awesome? When your friend who you assume is liberal, or at least prefers Obama, is happy that you voted for Romney. I guess I was wrong. Turns out he prefers Romeney too.
This brings up an interesting point though. We are friends because we are both bronies. We never discussed politics before today, and I think part of that is because of the general message of bronies, love and acceptance. It did not matter what our political beliefs are, we can still be friends. That is part of what I love about bronies, love and acceptance.
Also he sent me a text today. Next week he is starting up a brony club! AWESOME! I am so excited for that.
I think we are becoming good friends too. We both play minecraft too. I know way more about it than him. So at some point we may end up playing on a server so I can teach him some things. I have been playing minecraft 1.4.2 a lot. My first survival world is beginning to look a bit like a creative world. I am building some bridges that are taking a lot of resources, but they look really cool. I have taken a lot of damage from them, but it is worth it.
I am also coming up with ideas for my farms in my survival world. Pistons will be involved for melons and pumpkins. I need more chickens so I can get more eggs. I am getting out of what I normally post now, so I think todays post is done.
Love and tolerance even in disagreement.
Worst Minecraft trade ever! A lot of times I will make a trade just to get another possibly, but I am not going to do this one. I would kill him if it were not for the Iron Golem.
I am really excited because this is an awesome update. I was playing a lot of the snapshots, and I am glad the update finally is out.
So I want to start off with something funny from last night I didnt write. We went to dinner, and while waiting a guy in a white suit with a white tie, white pants, white hat came in. He was with a woman, and I, of cores, assumed he was a pimp based on how he was dressed. We eat, then walked outside, and we saw I think it was a Catilac, it had large wheels, basically it was pimped out. It was really funny. So I think my assumption was correct.
So onto today. Today we went to the JFK 6th floor museum in Dallas. It is on the 6th floor of the Book Depository, where Oswald shot Kennedy. (and BTW, the conspiracies, all of them, are wrong. Feel free to debate that point with me.) Anyway, that was pretty interesting. Then we went somewhere in Fort Worth, I think the stock yards. Anyway, I slept on the way back. Apparently the GPS got us lost though.
Since I have been back I have been playing Minecraft. This is crazy, I am in an abandoned mine. I figured I would get everything I can from there, because they tend to have a lot of stuff. Well I found out before there is a cave spider spawner. I was going to destroy it from a safe spot, and spiders just kept coming, so I couldn’t get down to destroy it. This kept going on, but I destroyed a spawner, so there had to be another. Long story short I found 6 Cave spider spawners really close to each other. There might be a 7th, I am not sure. I have seen 2, but it may have just been 1 from different angles. But this was all next to a spider dungeon, so I have gotten a lot of string and a lot of spider eyes. Not a ton of XP like I thought I would, mostly because they were too far away for the XP orbs to get to me.
So has something like this happened to anyone else? 6 cave spider spawners near a dungeon?
